Let me just premise this by saying Rambo is the rescue's favorite! He has been here far too long, not by any fault of his own. He was found chained to a tree (see photo) in the mud in Georgia, a suspected bait dog. Because of this he should be the only dog in the home. Not because he doesn't love other dogs, he does, he adores all the puppies, and plays pretty hard with all of them, however he does still suffer from PTSD regarding other aggressive dogs. He will still balk at getting into vehicles because he believes he is still going to a fight :( He is the most loving 80lb lap dog ever! He will sit for hours if you just stay with him, give him belly rubs and scratch his ears. I have several people that will come over periodically just to hang out with him, he is loved that much! He adores children, milk bones, his special balls which I have saved 2 for his new home, and belly rubs, those are his favorite. Give this guy a chance, he deserves it! Up to date on all shots, and chipped. All dogs are located in Plainfield, NH and available for meet and greets! DCTR is a 501c3 Veteran owned rescue, veteran's get a discount on adoption fees!
