ADOPTED! - Hi, everybody! Can you guess why my name is "Rascal"? Yup, I admit it. I can be a little mischievous at times. But, I can be an angel sometimes too. I'm fearless and adventuresome--and--like all puppies--I'm a lot of work. (I'm so cute, though, that I think I'm worth the trouble.) I was was born July 5 of this year, and I only weigh about 5 lbs. now, so even when I'm grown up I will be a small dog (probably about 10 or 12 lbs.). For this reason, I'm not a good candidate for a family with very young children because I might be inadvertently injured. (Older children would be fine, though, as long as they respect animals and can be trusted to handle me gently.) I'm very smart, I learn fast, and I'm soooo affectionate. I just thrive on being with people, and being cuddled and held like a baby. But I also love to play, play, play and run, run, run! In spite of my size, I've proven more than once that I can outrun any human. so my foster mom says that my adopter MUST have a safely fenced yard (please, no invisible fencing). I love other dogs so I am looking for a home where I will have a doggie playmate. And, because I am still working on my housebreaking skills, my foster mom will ONLY consider an adopter who works part time, is retired, or works out of his/her home--so that I can be taken out to go potty on a frequent and regular basis. My adoption fee is $300 and I have been immunized, neutered, microchipped, and wormed.
