Raven's got a lot of personality and is a lot of fun. Read on - she has a lot to tell you!
Arrival story: Raven came from a full up-north shelter where, because of its location, dogs have a hard time finding homes and run out of time.
Approximate age / weight: 1 year and 45 lbs, about knee height. The perfect size!
Personality: We just took Raven to Lake Orion dog park and she loves to swim!!! She went in and retrieved balls and toys and loved every minute of it. Raven is such a beautiful dog!! One thing about Raven is that she loves other dogs! A few days a week she attends daycare while her foster mom is working, and she has a blast! She has become buddies with all the human workers, and she is the party starter in the group of dogs. She loves to be chased around by other dogs so she will run around until someone chases her! She loves the dog park. She runs around meeting and playing with all the dogs, and stops to meet and be pet by some humans as well! At home, Raven is housebroken, crate-trained, playful, and loving. Her day consists of carrying around tennis balls and other toys around the house, enjoy pets and attention from her foster mom and play ing with her foster siblings! Raven is very well mannered in the house, she hardly barks, she knows what to play with, and she relaxes nicely when there is nothing going on. Raven has been a little shy when meeting new people, but once she is comfortable, she is a happy, friendly girl!
Forever home: It takes Raven a little bit of time to warm up to new people so she would need a patient home. She loves other dogs so she could be a second dog to a home. Cats are okay too. She is a wonderful dog when she is comfortable, and she deserves a chance!
Contact:If you are interested in Raven please contact her foster mom Krystal at [email protected] or fill out an on-line application.

We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check
www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar for the latest information. Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
Thank you for your support of rescue and your interest in a rescue dog!
