My Story

7/16/08 - Gets along with other dogs. Friendly, affectionate. Knows "sit" for a treat. Seems to know about car rides. Crate trained, accustomed to sleeping in crate at night. He is in an inside outside run & always potties outside. Actual house manners are unknown, like many Irish, probably a "counter surfer". He is probably an American Red Setter www.nrsftc.com/standard.htm About 50lbs. Golden Red color VERY Active when he arrived, but has adjusted well. CAN PROBABLY GO OVER 6ft fence. Was a stray from PA coal region, Carbon Co SPCA. 2/1/08 - Yes, Redford still needs a new home. He can go over 6 foot fences, so please keep that in mind when applying to adopt him. 12/7/07 - Was neutered on Friday 12/7/07. HW negative & Rabies vaccines updated and Wormed w/Panacur. 11/7/07 - Redford is in foster care an hour south of Phildelphia, PA. Redford is a bright, energetic young dog at approx 2 years of age. He would love to be part of a family that likes hiking and long walks. Redford is not yet neutered but has had a DHPPA vaccine, Bordatella vaccine, Frontline for fleas and ticks and Panacur worming. He will be neutered prior to adoption. An application, vet reference, home visit and a drive to PA a must to meet our dogs! Adoption fee required.
