Here's Rex! Before we say anything else, Rex will need a special home. He cannot and will not go to just any home. Please read his bio before applying. He's a 4 year old hound mix. Rex has been a difficult case. He was referred to us by Gentle Jake's Coonhound Rescue, and surrendered after his owner passed away unexpectedly. Rex was used to guarding his salvage yard property, so he needs patience with new people. Once he is fully settled in with his new people, he is quite friendly and sweet, and loves belly rubs and lying in the sunshine. He is low energy and just wants to keep his people company. Rex would do best in a country property where he has space to be a dog and do his thing. His new owner should be a confident male or couple, with no children, and someone who will commit to continuing Rex's training. Rex will come with 3 mandatory, complimentary, on site training sessions, courtesy of North Grey K9.
