Not looking to adopt TWO dogs? Consider this: A pair of "bonded" dogs are in many ways easier to care for than ONE dog. They are often less "demanding" because they entertain each other and they are really fun to watch as they run around and share their toys! These two little sweethearts (Rhett on the left and Scarlet on the right) were abandoned at a local shelter after being raised together for 4 years. They didn't appear to have been well cared for. They were unkempt, extremely thin, and in need of lots of TLC. They are very sweet and--since they are best friends--we would be prefer that they be adopted out together. They are housebroken, friendly, and heartworm negative. We have brought them up to date on immunizations and we have also had them both microchipped. We would prefer that they be adopted by a person (or couple) who works at home, is retired, or at least only works part time. That way they won't have to be latchkey dogs, as so many modern day dogs are. They would enjoy a fenced yard (no invisible fencing, please) and we would prefer that they not go to a home with small children. (They are good with people of all ages, but--because of their small size--we worry that a small child might inadvertently injure them.) The adoption fee for this pair of dogs is $350.
