Wonderful friendly 10-year-old male who craves attention. Riley was given to the rescue after his owner moved out of state. He loves people and gets along well with other dogs, kids and cats. He is quite the character though so be prepared. He is a Houdini dog and can find his way into your refrigerator and make his own snack if you are not around.
Of course he likes to counter surf as well, but this pales in comparison to the refrigerator feat. He also has been found in the family car. Yes, he can open that door too and finds his way into the back seat for a comfortable resting spot. (He did not even scratch the car door when opening it!) Riley does have some separation anxiety, obviously, but is on a mild medication now and is doing well. He is a joy to have around and loves to have his back scratched and even get a bath. He is a good watch dog and wants to have a new domain to regulate. He acts and looks much younger than his 10 years. He has no gray hair yet and still plays with the other dogs in the home and moves quite well for an older guy. He is a gem and will be a great addition for your family.
