River

River is estimated to be between 4 and 5 years old. She is an American Staffordshire Terrier and has had DNA testing done. She comes with a lot of personality and love to give. She is house and crate trained. She is a medium energy dog who loves to take walks, play with friends, and toys but is also happy to spend all day binging Netflix with her human. River is a big, friendly girl who gives the best kisses (assuming you like sloppy kisses and who doesn’t? She wound up at the animal shelter through no fault of her own and has been with rescue for a year now! During her rescue time, she’s been a terrific hit at Mardi Growl and two adoption events where she soaked up lots of attention but didn’t find a home. She’s made lots of doggy friends in her foster home and watched them move on without her. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccines and is currently taking heartworm, flea and tick preventative medication. She has never met a stranger and likes most dogs. In doggy play, she enjoys wild games and would do great with a canine sibling of similar size and energy. She also enjoys a good snuggle after her romps so be ready. She is a bossy dog so she would do best with submissive dogs or smaller dogs.
