Meet Rocky!
This adorable guy is hoping to find a home for his final years of his life. Rocky is a 13-14 year old 12 lbs Long Haired Dachshund/Pomeranian Mix (best guess).
Unfortunately, their previous owner has dementia and is no longer able to care for him.
Rocky is pretty reserved and needs some time to adjust to a new place before he shows his adorable personality. We feel someone with rescue experience who will let him come around on his own terms would be the best match. He gets nervous when new people try to pick him up. He enjoys cuddling up in any circular shaped bed. He brightens up around other dogs and it’s pretty adorable to see him get the zoomies (which last maybe 30 seconds lol).
Rocky was previously posted as a bonded pair with Heidi a 14 year old German Shepherd Mix, but she has sadly passed over the rainbow bridge and Rocky is now with a bigger group of senior dogs.
