He looks to be a Vizsla crossed with Ridgeback. He is two years old and good with other dogs and cats. He is a lovely boy, but does have some fear-based issues and looking for a breed-experienced home. He loves his foster family, but has not been shown enough of the world, and can be fearful in new situations. He very much has the personality of a Vizsla.

Rocky is feeling a bit heart-broken right now. He just lost the only family he has ever known. This stunning boy was taken in by a man with disabilities and his elderly parent's, when he was being thrown into the garbage at only five weeks old. Then the family's house burnt down, and Grand-pa passed away in the fire. They were forced to start their lives over, and Rocky was indeed this family's rock. He has always been their house-pet. Sleeping in Grandma's bed at night, and being doted upon. He was great friend's with their two cats as well. Unfortuneately Grandma just had to move into an assisted living facility leaving Rocky with nowhere to go. We recieved many calls from friends and relatives asking for an option for Rocky who was set to be euthanized this week. Thankfully Tammi and Andy stepped up to foster him. He has just moved into a busy house with kids, cats, and dogs, and fitting in just fine. Although Rocky was loved he was never able to go for walks, so he is just starting to learn what that is all about. Rocky was anxious at first but is settling in quickly. He needs a home to adore him as much as his original family did, to once again feel loved... Rocky ADORES children and is an excellent family companion. He especially loves babies, and crawls on the floor next to them, as gentle as can be.
