Roper

Meet Roper ?? aka Ropie! Roper is 8 months old, 56lb big puppy. He is so friendly and loves to play with friendly & playful dogs, cats, kids & adults. He is learning his manners and working on not jumping when he greets friends. Roper has been practicing being in the crate for meals and shorter periods when his foster family leaves. He struggles with separation so he is hoping to find a family with a busy home, with multiple humans who will be patient and help him. His dream is to be able to be on-the-go with his family. He rides great in the car and loves adventures to parks and dog-friendly events. He's completely potty trained and sleeps through the night, in bed with his teddy bear. After his morning walk, he relaxes all day while his foster mom works from home. Then with a long evening walk, he gets all his energy out so he is relaxed in the house. But, there is always time for some playing before bed! Roper knows sit and is eager to learn more commands. His favorite food is watermelon, he loves to play ball, is an avid lizard-pouncer and loves having snuggles and belly rubs!
