My Story

Rosie is one of our three babies that came in with Parvo. They have had a rough couple of weeks going through intensive treatment, but should be cleared for adoption sometime around the end of February. They will be spayed/neteured then and have 2 sets of shots and dewormed. Rosie and her brother, Tater, look to be Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers. This is not a common breed, but they came out of an area where they are bred for hunting. For those of you not familiar with the breed, they are somewhat 45 lb golden retrievers with some white markings. They're very goofy and like to play. We know that all three were dumped in the overnight bin of a shelter in Georgia. They are about 8 weeks old now (2/14). Since these are babies, they will need someone home at least part of the day. If you are interested in adoption any of the pups, please contact Lori at [email protected]. All adoption fees are $200.
