Hi There! My name is Roxie and I am a young spry girl.

I am 9 mths old and on the bigger side for my breed. My humans purchased me from a breeder in the hopes to hunt with me but, unfortunately, due to a death in the family, that opportunity never arose. My mom loves me but I am just too much for her to handle right now.

The volunteer who came from the rescue says I am a beautiful girl (which I am! She sue is smart!), but I need to learn some manners. I am full of energy and like to jump on humans. I am just so happy to see everyone! I also enjoy countersurfing…basically when I am unsupervised I can get myself in trouble.

The rescue lady said that I am a typical young GSP and with training and structure I am going to be the perfect girl. I currently live with 2 cats but they reside upstairs…lucky for them because I sure am prey driven. Sometimes I jump the babygate to get upstairs to get at them so a home with no cats would be best.

I took treats very gently from the rescue lady and I even sat so she would give me more…and she did!

Oh yeah and I am crate trained, too...I like to sleep in there at night and when I'm home alone...this stops me from getting into any trouble!
