My Story

Meet Rune! He is app. 1 year old, neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped! Rune is a rambunctious, happy go lucky pup! He loves to go in adventures! Rune is currently in foster with other dogs and cats. He can be a bit rude when asking to play by poking and poking. Rune is currently working on food issues so having a new family that understands management is also a must. Rune needs to be the only animal in the home and no younger children. Rune came to us as a neglect/abuse situation. He was found in a ditch at 4/5 months of age unable to walk. Both of his back legs had trauma to them, resulting in a special surgery/placement of metal. After months of rehab, he can now run and play! However, he will need his new family to keep an eye on his growth and development. His vet team, thinks he is going to be JUST FINE, which makes us happy. Jaded Paws Rescue is a 501c3 foster run organization, and we do not have a kennel facility for the general public to come and visit. We do this because we find our animals will be much more accustomed to the home environment when the time comes that they get adopted! If you'd like to meet a Jaded Paws Pet, simply email us and we can schedule a meet and greet that is compatible with your schedule. Our adoption process includes an adoption application, a meet and greet and a 7-day adoption trial at the prospective family's home before the adoption is official. Our adoption fees are as follows: Puppies/Adults: $125 Senior dogs: $75 Cats:$50
