Sable is a beautiful, well proportioned 8-9 year old Chocolate girl who is delighted to have a second chance in life as a well loved Lab. After a life as a mom of many puppies, she was no longer of use or wanted. She was rescued by a Good Samaritan who found her alone in a yard with little attention or company after her canine companion of many years passed on. In spite of such a life, she’s still got a loving Lab temperament and all who’ve met her remark that she’s a “real sweetheart”.
Sable is housetrained and crate trained. She knows her name, makes pleasant eye contact, is pleased to show off her sit and will politely shake your paw. On the leash she does quite well. Sable is very deferential to people, bonds quickly and is such an affectionate girl. She appreciates and adores attention. Since she was relegated to a life where she was only good for producing puppies, like most rescued females in this situation, she prefers to be the only furry princess about the house.
