Sam I Am, lovable puppy I be. I was born December 15, 2007, and am a tall black and tan Dobe, with natural perky ears, and docked tail. When I run, my ears go out and I look like the Flying Nun. I have lots of energy to burn, and require a fenced-in yard. I am the happiest puppy you¢ll ever see. I love to play, and get along well with other dogs and small children, but cats are an unknown. Because I am teething, I enjoy chewing, especially compressed rawhide bones, rolls, and my Nylabone. I really need to be crated when I am home alone. My previous owner (77 years old) didn¢t have the mobility to work with me, but socialized me with other dogs and children. My foster mom is helping me with my manners, and I¢ll need continued training. Given the time and attention, I will make a great family dog.
