Sam

Gentle Giant Sam is a 11 year old Great Pyrenees who was adopted through our rescue two year ago when his owner was killed in a motorcycle accident. The family is selling their home and can no longer keep Sam. Sam is a very well mannered and friendly guy with lots of love to give. He's a big boy at 143 lbs.! He is not shy about asking for love and attention. He really enjoys being petted and getting his ears rubbed. Sam is very trustworthy in the house on his own, does not get into things and will not have to be crated. He gets along great with other dogs, and cats too. He is a sweet ,gentle boy, housebroken, neutered, and smart too! He knows how to sit, down and stay on command, and he loves to go for car rides! If you can give Sam a home as an inside pet with outside privileges to a securely fenced yard, he would be so appreciative. There is no adoption fee for Sam, the only requirement is for him to have a loving, warm and wonderful home to spend his sunset days. He is battling an ear infection and has some arthritis, but for his age he is in great shape. We do asked that his adopter continue his pet insurance policy which has a fee of about $35 month.
