Sam Adams

Sam Adams reached the ripe age of at least 8 before someone decided he was too much trouble to keep around. He weighs 10 lbs. When we got him, he was so matted he couldn't walk. Sam is mannerly, good with other dogs and cats, and wants nothing more than to sit in your lap. As far as we can tell, he loves everyone except groomers and vets. Around these he shows considerable fear aggression, so he should probaby be sedated before visiting them. Poodles can live for 20+ years, and Sam shows no signs of slowing down. Here's hoping someone can give him the special life he should have had the first time around.

For the $70 adoption fee, this animal has received rabies shot and heartworm test if old enough. It has also received puppy shot, worming, and spay/ neuter--and sometimes a considerable investment of services and treatments.

We set up at our new location on 50 Railroad Street, Sylva, NC every Saturday from noon until 4 or 5 PM. You can also view animals by making an appointment with the foster parent. Get approximate directions from your location.
