Sandy, a 2-year-old mother despite experiencing a difficult beginning, has blossomed into a very sociable and energetic pup! She went through our STAR Inmate Training Program to learn basic obedience which has in turn given her the confidence that she has today! Sandy was a huge favorite with all the staff at the STAR program! It has been a guessing game as to whether she is a Canaan Dog or a Carolina Dog. The votes are split! :)
She is very energetic and loves running and playing with the other dogs. She is a big kiss giver, absolutely loves to cuddle and thinks she is the size to be a the perfect lap dog. Sandy is house and crate trained and ready to meet her new family! Applications can be found at carerescueok.org!
