Sanji

Sanji is nothing but one big puppy. Originally Sanji was named Casper in 2022 when he came to us as a puppy. He was part of a rambunctious litter of Kentucky pups that were given one more chance at a real life. Sanji was adopted and kept for 2 years in that home before being returned to us due to the owners not properly caring for his needs. The reason for surrender was that he didnt seem happy and it was assumed that he would be much happier back at the shelter. Thankfully, despite him being very nervous when he was returned, Sanji is adjusting very well. He loves all the people that have come and seen him since he has been back and he is seeming to be settling in nicely. Sanji did live with other dogs but has not been cat tested yet so we are unsure of how he will be with a feline companion. We do predict he will be a bit nervous and will need a patient hand to allow him to adjust in a new home but we also think he will shine like a star once he knows hes safe. Sanji enjoys playing ball, has been fantastic with the 8 year old kid who is frequently in the shelter with him (my rockstar son and number one volunteer), is healthy, fully vetted and probably doesn't need much more than a family whos willing to lay on the couch and watch movies with him. He might enjoy climbing mountains, but active or not, Sanji will most likely thrive just fine in a home that just simply shows him love and kindness.
