**FENCED YARD REQUIRED** Hi there! I’m Sarafina! My name means “bright star”, which I definitely think fits the bill! I was rescued during a cruelty investigation where my puppies and I lived outside on a chain, but thanks to these lovely humans, I’m ready to find my fur-ever home and be your very own shining star. My absolute favorite thing in the world is affection, be warned because I request lots of love and pets! People are my favorite but I especially LOVE kids! They say I can hardly contain myself around kids, but how can I help it?! They’re cute. I’m cute. What’s not to love? I would do best in a home with kids who are 10 and up and are okay with being showered in loads and loads of love, affection, and probably kisses. My favorite game is when you throw me toys and I retrieve them! There’s nothing more I love than catch and fetch. (Well, maybe pets.) I’d love to be your very own bright star! "Sarafina is a snuggler and she makes me smile every time she comes up for snuggles. *When was your foster the happiest? What did that look like? "Sarafina is happiest snuggled up with a blanket on the couch." *Tell us any ways that your foster grew, or anything learned while in your home. "When Sarafina first got here, she was so nervous and shy. She would crouch down. After a few days she started coming up to us and would go outside by herself." *Briefly describe your foster. What kind of home do you think your foster would blossom in? "I think Sarafina will do good with anyone and would prefer to be the only dog. She's an attention hog!" Sarafina's date of birth is 11/12/2018 and she weighs about 50lbs. This fee includes: • Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian • Up to date on all vaccinations. Puppies/kittens may require some additional booster shots which we will pay for if coordinated through us and our veterinarian • Spayed/Neutered • Microchipped • 30 day pet health guarantee for local adoptions only (*Must follow process provided at time of adoption.) • 30 day money back guarantee Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following: • Fenced yard (required for most dogs) and home inspection for all animals; we will complete an onsite fence/home check prior to completing the adoption if possible. *Fenced yard required. (We do not accept invisible fences.) • Veterinary reference for previous pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention) • If no previous veterinary history, purchase of 3 months of heartworm prevention • If renting, verification with Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions, pet deposit, etc. • Meet and greet with current pets to ensure compatibility. Note: We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s). We do a physical home/fence inspection prior to completing the adoption if a fence is required, or we may request a home video.
