Sarah

Sometimes, humans fail, but Sarah has a sweet and trusting soul and she believes in in giving the two-legged hoomans a second chance. After being dumped at a state park in Texas, Sarah found some new friends in the parking lot that gave her some water, food, and a ride. Her life has gotten significantly better at her TX temp foster home, and now she is happily in Snohomish living her best PNW life with her foster there but she is hoping to find her furever family soon. She is a smart and friendly young pup at 1 year of age. Her foster reports Sarah hasn't met a person she didn't like (no one is a stranger to her!). She is a HUGE cuddler and loves to me hugged and snuggled. She plays politely with her foster siblings and takes queues from other dogs well and has shown no signs of food, toy or resource guarding. She has also been introduced to cats and shows a lot of interest but is very polite and respectful of space, so she would do ok with slow intro's with a resident cat. She would definitely thrive in a multi-dog household. So she's requested a home with lots of chew toys, yummy snacks and a trusted companion that enjoys long walks, snuggles and play time. With very little training she has already picked up sit and is smart enough to quickly learn her basic commands. She's housetrained and open to the idea of crate, especially if the previously mentioned toys and treats are inside it. Sarah is spayed, UTD on shots and has been health and heartworm tested (negative!), so she is healthy and ready to start her new life with her furever family. Sarah's current foster is an awesome dog training/boarder and is offering 3 free training sessions with her adoption as well as 5 days of day-care to help with the transition to a new home, which is so very generous and a huge bonus to Sarah and her future family!
