Hi! My name is Sassy and yep....my foster mom says the name fits! I weigh approximately 25 lbs, I'm about 10 months old, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, housetrained, and I can even "sit". (I'm VERY smart!) I ended up at the shelter because my mom and dad decided to move to an apartment and could not take me. After that I was rescued (from the shelter) because I was too active to be kenneled indefinitely. I am still a puppy who is full of energy and I love to play, so I'm looking for a fenced-in yard (please, no invisible fencing) with a playmate to make certain my energy is spent in a meaningful way. In my first home I was introduced to kids and I am fine with other dogs and cats, although I have to admit I do like to chase the cats on occasion. But, hey....what can I say? I like to stay busy and I'm a little on the "devilish" side--but I'm lovable too! I am very sweet and sensitive, I enjoy the company of canine companions my own age--and, at the end of a busy day--I love warming the lap of my human "mom" or "dad" and snuggling with them in bed all night long.
