Scooby has found his forever home with Roie L. in Cambridge, MA
Scooby is a 7-8 month old lab mix. He currently weighs 33 lbs (as of 8/17). He was born to a lab mix mother belonging to someone that could not afford to get the mother spayed. This is often a problem in the South. He currently lives in foster care with other dogs and puppies in the South. He is very friendly and loves people and attention. He lived with a family with children the first four months of his life and his brother was adopted to a family with a four year old and is doing well. He did live with a cat in his original home, so cats should not be a problem. He is crate trained and working on his housetraining. Scooby's ideal home would be with a family that is active and willing to train him. If another dog is already in the family, he would do best with a female that is more submissive, as he likes to be the boss. Scooby's adoption fee is $400.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
