Scooby

Scooby is about a Black Mouth Cur/Boxer mix. He is about 60 -70. pounds. Scooby is so sweet and it was hard for his foster mom to get great pics because Scooby loves to be super close to her. As she would take a step back to get his face in the frame of the picture, then he just scooted forward. He is a big sweetheart. He is very energetic and LOVES to chase balls and squeak toys. Scooby is crate trained and potty trained. He is working on his basic manners, and would love to continue learning in his new home! Scooby's time was up at a local shelter and he knows his foster mom said yes to him right on time. He showers her with lots of love. Scooby can be wary of strangers too, but he's very food motivated, and you'll be able to win him over with some treats. This friendly boy will be most comfortable in an adult-only home. Scooby is young, so he still has a lot to learn. However, he actually LOVES to learn-- especially when he's rewarded with a tasty treat! He would really benefit from an adopter who can help him learn his manners. Sometimes, when he's meeting new human friends, he gets a little overstimulated and gets a teeny bit nervous with strangers, but he quickly recovers when he feels safe.
