Scotty

This very friendly, happy guy is is an eight year old pug/terrier cross. He looks much like a pug only a little bit taller. Scotty is comfortable and gentle with new people. He sits by your feet waiting for you to pet him when he wants attention. He will kiss you on the cheek once he gets to know you better. He really loves children and is fine with babies too. He gives them a kiss when he can sneak one in. He is very gentle and well mannered. His easy going personality helps him get along well with other dogs and even cats. He will approach a new animal slowly and cautiously until they are okay with him. He loves to go outside and just walk around the yard. Scotty is an affectionate guy who likes to sit next to you on the couch and get a belly rub. His family had to surrender him because they had other dogs who picked on him. Because of Scottie's rough life so far, he really deserves a nice family who has time to take care of him and spoil him. He really loves teenage boys! Adoption fee of $125 will include his neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea and tic preventative, dewormer and heartworm test. He just got his teeth cleaned too. RRPS adoption hours are on Tuesday's, Thursday's and Saturday's from 1 till 4 pm. Scottie is in a foster home right now since he really hated being locked in a kennel, so call before you come to meet him. Scottie has a lot of character, In fact, he reminds us a lot of Chewbacca, he is gentle and loyal, makes lots of crazy noises like Chewbaca and even kind of looks like him!
