Shadow is a very special girl, a gorgeous, pure-bred Siberian husky with beautiful blue eyes. She is 2 or 3 years old and 80 lbs. Shadow is extremely affectionate and smart. She is housetrained and has good house manners. Shadow was shot by a rifle which shattered her shoulder bone. She is having difficult walking on that leg. Shadow is currently being treated for Heartworm and when she completes treatment, her shoulder will be evaluated again and there is a chance she may need amputation of that leg in the future. She is a wonderful girl who likes to lie at the feet of people. Shadow will be happiest in a calm home. Her adoption fee is $350.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
