Sherman~Adopted

PLEASE NOTE - Sherman is located in Clinton, Iowa. Sherman is a lab bull terrier mix. (not a pit bull terrier, a bull terrier) He is 10, neutered, one bad knee and arthritis. He has fatty tumors. The vet says he is otherwise healthy and at his age not to put him through surgery. He is on meds and can get around find and he has no idea that he is 10. He can sit and lay down. He was brought to the Clinton Humane Society shelter in Clinton Iowa and dumped in the outdoor runs; it?s believed that his owner could not put him to sleep. He has won the hearts of the shelter volunteers as he is such a nice dog. His down side is no cats or probably small animals. He was adopted by a family that had a large 90lb pup and Sherman got along with him just fine, but the family failed to police the games let the pup push Sherman?s buttons once too often and Sherman finally let him have it. No damage, just a very firm reprimand. His life right now is in peril as the shelter is over full. Can you help at all? The odds are that Sherman may not get adopted because he?s a senior companion, so he is in jeopardy. If you think you might be able to offer ol?
