Shiner (CP)

Hello, world meet shiner! Shiner is looking for a foster or a forever home! His fur parents have to re-home him due to his fur mom being admitted to the hospital and his new little sibling living in NICU. She had twins and lost one... Shiner has been staying at a boarding facility and it has been breaking his mom's heart while she is in the hospital. She wants him to have a great life and to be able to run and have a family that loves him and will keep him safe. Shiner is a three-year-old catahoula/lab mix who was born on 9/20/19 and was saved from a sad situation in Tamina. He’s such a goofball and sweetheart. He loves cuddles and snuggles. He enjoys staying in and watching movies on a Friday night. He needs to be with someone who can continue his training and has the patience for his transition into a new home. He knows how to sit, stay, heel, place, and down. He has lived with another dog without issues, but again, will need to be introduced slowly, as he’s a little shy. He has been around cats, and has been fine but has never lived with one before. He has been through obedience training and completed/graduated with excellence! He is crate trained and potty-trained. He is also house-trained! His fur parents are heartbroken and pray he can find someone who is loving and a perfect fit for shiner! Shiner currently weighs 65 lbs. He is neutered and is updated on vaccines dewormer, rabies, and monthly heartworm/flea/tick preventative. He is also a microchip. As the over population of animals in Texas is at an all time high, this is a way we are trying to help when we don't have room for intake. This application will be sent to the foster. The adoption process will be managed by them. All adoption fees and contracts will be discussed at that time.
