Donate Dober Duds SHOOTER. Shooter is a very energetic boy 1 year old who loves to play, get attention and have his ears rubbed. For his age though he is definitely on the laid back side. He is a bit on the shy side as well. He did come with unusual looking back feet. He actually had 6 toes on each foot. Our vet did look at him and decided to remove the dew claws that stuck out as long as he was under for a neuter. It seems like he has not had all the normal dog experiences as he does avoid certain steps like the open backed ones. Shooter is working on getting housebroken, and only playing with HIS toys... he loves to play with toys and chew on bones. In fact, he needs a lot of toys or he will find other things to play with! He loves pillows, blankets, throw rugs and shoes... luckily he brings them right to you, so he doesn't destroy them; just gets them a little wet! He gets along well with other dogs and loves to play. Shooter responds well when you call him by name and knows some basic commands. He needs obedience training as he's still a pup, and he is strong and tall. He's a bit clumsy and when he bumps into things he almost "laughs at himself" and wags his little tail! He's happily working on gaining weight, and loves to work for treats. He is a very smart dog! He is nervous in the car but is getting more exposure to it and doing better. He is working on behaving on the leash, but really enjoys going for walks and being outside. He barks at everything, and is learning to be quiet and mindful of the neighbors! Overall he is a very loving, eager to please big baby boy that can't wait to get into his fever home!
