Sierra

Sierra is a wonderful, 4 1/2 month old, 20ish pound black flat coated retriever mix. She has beautiful long floppy ears with wavy fur. The fur on her body is short and straight. Her tail and legs are starting to feather. Sierra is a happy-go-lucky puppy who is very friendly, playful and inquisitive. Sierra knows her name, comes to the sound of a clicker, 'sits' on command and for her meals. She is working on 'down', 'off', and 'stay'. She loves treats which makes training very easy. She uses the doggie door to do her business outside. Sierra is a lovely dog who will make a great addition to someone's family.

This organization is run by volunteers only and we try our best to save as many homeless pets as possible. Since there are only a few volunteers, please understand that we are unable to answer phone calls about the animals. The first step is to fill out an adoption application which you can find on the Pet Rescue website: www.ny-petrescue.org and we will contact you as soon as possible, usually within 5 days. Pet Rescue doesn't have a shelter where you can come and meet the dogs. All showings are by appointment after your application has been approved.
