My Story

NOTE: SKIPPY - NOW GUS - H AS GONE TO LIVE ON HIS OWN FARM WITH HIS NEW FAMILY - TWO AND FOUR LEGGED. THNANKS FOR ADDING GUS TO YOUR LIFE!

Little Skippy came from a rural pound. He was very, very thin and very scared. Skippy is a tiny Chi/Toy Fox mix. He is about 4 years old, in need of a lap.

Skippy loves other dogs and cats. He is a very sweet dog that wants to be with you, doing what you do. He has never been carried around although that's what he wants. He is innately a lap dog but has never had the luxury of being someone beloved little dog. We will change that for Skippy!

Skippy is crate trained and house trained. He does not need a fenced in yard but does need a person that can spend time with him. Preferably someone that is not gone a typical 8 hour work day; works from home, works part time, retired, stay at home mom, etc. Skippy would be fine with children over 8.

This little 9 pound dog is just waiting to be spoiled, sleep in bed, ride in the car and do all the other things that small dogs do with their owners. He is game for whatever you have to offer. He loves walks in the woods and swimming in the pond as well as snuggling in bed and accompanying you on errands.

If you are interested in doing all these things with Skippy please click on the Star-Mar Rescue link beside Skippy's pictures and read about our program and our adoption requirements before asking for an application.
