My Story

Sky is a sweet, active, loving and goofy boy! He is a little 3 years old as of April 2024 and weighs 33 pounds. We think he’s a Basenji/terrier mix. He’s got a cute curled tail and stocky body. SKY IS BEING FOSTERED IN NEW YORK AND IS READY FOR A MEETUP! Sky is active and likes to go on adventures! He would be great for someone who loves walking or hiking. He loves to play with toys and his ball! He is great with other dogs of his size or larger! We don’t recommend him in an home with small dogs or cats because he does enjoy chasing them (as well as any small animal). He also enjoys cuddling and snoozing on the couch, and in sunny spots in the house. Please note that the middle of his head is a birthmark and not an injury! Sky rocks that unique birthmark like a mohawk! We think it gives him a lot of character. : ) Sky is here to keep you from wasting your time scrolling and make sure you give him all the cuddles and walks! If you are interested in Sky, please send us an email! We are happy to answer any questions, and provide further photos and video of any dog of interest! Feel free to email us: [email protected] __________________________________________ PLEASE NOTE: We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority. We ask that you please make sure if interested in a puppy or high energy breed that you are ready for this time consuming/daily endeavor and have patience as this is a long term commitment (could be 15+ years). Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment is the most important thing in caring for a dog. In addition we cannot guarantee breed of any dog or expected adult size of a puppy. Please note that even house trained dogs will need help transitioning to an adopters home and schedule. Thank you for understanding.
