Skyler

Skyler is a wonderful dog! She is calm with her human but loves to play and rough house with the other dogs and play with toys. She has come such a long way since she has been with us. She used to be afraid of people but now she will beg to get in the chair with you if you sit down. She follows you around where ever you go. She is up-to-date on all vaccines, microchipped, spayed and kept on flea and heartworm prevention since she was a young puppy. Skyler's ideal home would probably be a home where they understand she will need a little time for her to trust you. Probably an adult home as I don't believe she would be a good fit for children because she would be very weary of them. I cannot promise dogs are 100% house trained. They live in a foster home with several other dogs and it's hard to know who exactly is 100% trained and who needs a little work. They are all trainable with some one-on-one training. They are not leash trained as they are used to a large backyard. My adoption process is to take applications, check vet references and talk to your landlord, if you rent, to make sure you can have a pet (If you own, I do check records to make sure). Once an application is approved, I set up a meet and greet at your home so I can see where they will be living and see if you have a secure yard. If they is a fit for your family, they would stay with you. If not, they would come back with me. You must live within about an hour of Hempstead, TX.
