Skyler

Skylar was rescued from a GA shelter when a pup this time last year! She went north with her boxer mix puppy friend who was immediately adopted. But Skylar being black was overlooked and sat in a foster home for several months. Sadly when she came back to me… as we never want them to just sit not getting adopted, she was very timid and scared and not the happy go lucky pup who left… just due to lack of socialization. Skylar doesn’t have a mean bone in her now full grown body! She is probably around 18 months old, crate trained and somewhat leash trained… but going places is scary. New people are scary. Skylar is going to need a less active home hopefully with another dog to give her confidence and she loves to play! Skylar loves all kinds of toys and is very self entertaining! Skylar has attended doggie daycare and learned to love and look forward to seeing her caretakers and doggie friends. Skylar will need patience and love… and lots of toys… but I think she has great potential!
