Smokey in Maine!

11/10/08 Smokey is such a great guy! He so full of personality and fun. He tries to "talk" to you in his samoyed voice and really loves attention and affection. He is living with cats currently but will chase them is they run. He seems to like other dogs but may want to be the dominant male in a home. He is also attending obedience classes and his foster mom says he is settling down more and more each day! He is such a good boy and still in need of a happy forever home. 10/5/08 Smokey has made it out of the crate he was living in and is SO happy to be here and free! He is beautiful boy with very long white fur and a few freckles on his nose. He is living with cats and seems not to mind them too much and is sweet guy just looking for love. He would do great at an obedience class as he does get excited and jump but he is eager toplease so easily trainable. Now all we have to do is find him a great forever home where he can relax and live a normal doggie life- not one in a crate for 20 hours a day!

8/20/08 - Update on Smokey...His status is urgent! He is a great dog -- He gets along well with other dogs and even cats! Please give him a chance at life before it is too late. 7/23/08: Meet Smokey...This gorgeous mix breed boy is available for adoption. He is 1 1/2 years old and very sweet. He belonged to an older couple that could no longer care for him. This boy needs a loving, indoor home with a fenced yard. He is heartworm negative (YEAH!) and has lived inside. He doesn't understand why he is now stuck in a kennel with no one to let him out when needed. All our dogs are at partner sheltersin the South unless marked "In New England" or "In Maine".
