Sophie Mae

Sophie Mae is a 6 or 7 year old smaller giant schnauzer with natural ears. She was the love of her owner's life when things changed and Sophie could no longer stay with them through no fault of her own. Her owner was heartbroken at having to give her up. It was a very emotional thing for her. So Sophie has been greatly loved since she was adopted 6 years ago. She has been around very young children less than two but not many cats. She knows some commands but will need some assistance in learning to walk well on a leash. She loves riding in a car but isn't fond of motorcycles.She loves to play fetch, tug and can catch a ball in midair. She has stayed with a petsitter who has other dogs.

Sophie would like nothing better than to be the love of someone else's life. She just came into rescue and as we know more about her and get her groomed, more pictures will posted of her. Sophie is a smaller giant schnauzer. Sophie will make a family a wonderful pet. A good home for her might be someone who is older and wants a wonderful companion to adore you and stay with you for company. But she has been around children but we don't know to what extent. Sophie is not very active so she doesn't need as much exercise as most giants do. Please consider adopting this sweet girl. She is waiting for you.
