Spencer

Spencer is a 6 month old neutered male Hound/Terrier. From his foster - “Spencer is one awesome pup! He’s fun, energetic, loves to play and has such a sweet temperament. He plays well with our pup, does not resource guard and is very friendly with our 3 cats! He’s been an all star when meeting new people and regularly gets told what a well behaved boy he is! Spencer also had a play date with a couple of dog savvy kids and was wonderful with them! Spencer has been excellent with the crate. He sleeps through the night without a peep and has been quietly crating on and off throughout the day. So far no accidents in the house with a regular potty schedule. Spencer is doing well with leash training. He’s a curious boy who likes to explore and he does well with redirection. So far Spencer has learned “sit” and will do “down” as well as “up” with direction. He responds to “no,” has been recalling to “here” while in the house and is learning “leave it, off and stay.” Spencer would also like to request that his forever family accepts unlimited amounts of puppy kisses and gives him lots and lots of toys! Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a minimum donation of $600, (dogs too young to be fixed will have an extra $200 deposit, refundable pending your spay/neuter agreement), 1 year and up are a minimum donation of $500, 7+ years or special needs are a minimum $400 donation 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters. Spencer is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue, rescue based in Bonifay and Panama City, FL and adoption center in Argyle NY (NY Lic #1054). The minimum donation $600 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery or spay/neuter agreement (if too young), up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar.
