Sprite

Mamma Sprite came to us as a confused, scared, shutdown pregnant girl. She went into labor just days after coming to us and delivered 5 beautiful puppies, whom have found homes and now it’s her turn. She is looking for a warm lap and someone to keep her company. Sprite was very nervous and shy when she first went into foster. She would cower whenever a hand or other object was moved quickly. Once she realized she was in a safe place, she settled in, but is still a leary of new people. She may have been mistreated by younger men or teenage boys as she is still nervous and unsure around her foster's 2 teenage sons, so we feel a home with no children would be best. Once she gets to know and trust you, she wants all the love. Sprite is happiest when she gets to be with her person. She also enjoys exploring outside once she feels comfortable. She would do best in a quiet home without lots of people coming and going. She has done well around cats, and small and large dogs. We feel she may benifit from having another small dog to help biuld her confidence. We believe she is around 3-5 years old and possibly MinPin/Doxie mix. Sprite is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $250, please email [email protected] for more information.
