BACKGROUND: Stanford was released to us early from a local kill shelter (BARC) due to his poor health condition. He was transferred directly to Dr. Sharon Anderson, who made a valiant attempt to save Stanford's life, but sadly he was in kidney failure and didn't make it. Thank you to Dr. A for always being there in an emergency. Rest in peace, sweet Stanford. You're another who just didn't have a fighting chance.
