ADOPTED! - Hi. My name is Sugar! I’m a tiny fluffy puppy who came from an Amish puppy mill, and I'm not yet adoptable because I have hurty legs. I have had braces on for the last three weeks, but my legs aren't getting any better. I don’t know what is wrong with them but I can’t run and play like my sisters Spice and Vegas. In fact, my legs are so crookedy that I can’t really even walk! My foster mommy took a video of me giving it my best shot (you can watch it by clicking on the video link). As you can see, my legs just won’t do what I tell them to do! This makes me very sad because I want to play with my sister and all the other doggies! My foster mom says I need to be evaluated--and treated--by the UW Vet School to make my legs all better. It sounds scary, but my foster mom says it is the only way I can ever run and play. I want to be like the other puppies so someone will see my furry little face and want to give me a forever home, too. But that can’t happen until I get treated at the Vet School, and and I hear that is what they call “expensive.” (I don’t know what that is, but my foster mommy’s eyes get all watery and sad when she says it. I think it has to do with money, and I know nobody has a lot of that right now, but they say it is the only way I will ever get better.)
So I thought I would ask all of you -- peoples who love little doggies and want them to have happy lives – if maybe you could help to pay for my medical evaluation and treatment. Any little monies you could send would help out a lot – big monies would be really great, too! I would really love it if I could run and play and have a happy life like my sisters. Can you help? If you wants to help me, you can send checks (which I hear are monies with pretty designs on them) to my rescue, One Starfish Rehoming Connections, P.O. Box 404 , Columbus, WI 53925 or you can also give some monies to something called PayPal
(my rescue's Pay Pal account is:
[email protected])
If you donate toward my treatment, I'll send you updates. And, if I ever get to meet you, I will give you lots of sweet puppy kisses to say “thanks.”
Walking is something most people and doggies take for granted. Not this little puppy. It is my dream to walk normally someday. Please help!
Thanks and Kisses,
Sugar
