Meet Sugar: Sugar is a 3 year old (as of November 2023) pit bull terrier mix that weighs 55 pounds. Sugar was at a local pound in Mississippi and found herself on the euthanasia list. We're so glad we were able to get her into a foster home in time!
Sugar is a sweetheart and loves to be near people! Sugar will be right up under you for attention if you are around. Sugar is very friendly with other dogs. She loves the company of her current foster dog brother and has been cautious of other dogs that have been introduced. After a few minutes she warms up to play with them. Sugar is cat friendly, but we would suggest supervised cat exposure - she loves to chase them to play and we know not all cats would be happy about that.
Sugar is house and crate trained. She happily chills in her crate and can entertain herself with toys. Sugar will need a home with a fenced in yard. Sugar is up to date on her shots and spayed. Sugar was initially heart worm positive, but completed her treatments on 11/21/22.
