Susu

Susu is a full blooded 6-7 yr old boxer who was owner surrendered to the shelter today 1/13/10. Her are moving and cannot keep her- but she has been in their family since she was a puppy from a breeder in MS, and her heart is broken. She wants to go home. Susu is a medium sized boxer, she has a beautiful crooked smile. She is completely up to date on vetting, heartworm negative and we have all her previous vet records. She is crate trained and has grown up around small children and cats. She is leash trained - though she strained some when we walked her tonight we think this was because she wanted to try to find her way home.

Little Susu does not know why she cannot go home, she is scared and lonely. She has soulful brown eyes, and loves affection. Please help us find her a forever home - where she will be treasured for the rest of her life.

Susu has been in foster care for the last couple of weeks in a home with two children ages 9 and 5yrs. She is great with the kids, my daughter even put a shirt and skirt on her. She loves to go on walks and whines a bit in the afternoons, her way of telling asking me "Where is my walk?". When I go out of the house I do leave her in and she has full run of the home at night, she is a great house dog! She doesn't seem to like to be outside for long amount of time, just enough to get her business done. Don't let the label "Senior" get to you, she is a good puller on the leash, she has power. She does like to harass the cat (currently isn't allowed in the home, kitty's fault).
