Sydney is such a sweet girl. She was so very nervous and scared when she was first rescued, but has come such a long way. She now loves to snuggle under the covers next to her foster mom and follow her people around the house. She gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids and is already potty trained. She has a bit of separation anxiety, so she would do better with someone that is home most of the time. She is getting more comfortable in a kennel but is still scared outside because of noises (getting better every day). Sydney needs a family that will give her time to trust and feel safe. If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there. Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day! *Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.* **All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.
