AADOPTED 1-27-09, thank you Jess in Gunnison, CO! **********************************************************************************************************************UPDATE: Miss Tafara is doing exceptionally well in our constant care. She has made a full recovery and is thriving. We have got her crate trained now, well, to the point that she doesn't pitch a fit and scream when placed in there now... she's still going potty in there... working on that. She is wonderful with my 4 yr old daughter, and insists on sleeping "with" her during naptime. VERY social little angel, with tons of personality. She is vey loving and loyal and likes to be where we are, never wandering off to do her own thing. She is the mellowest of the trio (keep in mind, that's not saying "stoic" by any means!) Even though she looks the most Weim of the trio, she really goes St. Poo. in personality and characteristics. **********************************************************************************************************************IN 1-15-09. Please see "Lucy" the Weimaraner/Poodle mix to read the whole story. This is a female pup, blue grey, coat like her mamma, 9 weeks at the time of this posting. The "runt" but with good food and lot's of love she'll look alot better in a week or two! These pups "look" terrible, due to the thin, sparse, dry coats and the pot bellies. They were terribly wormy. Our vet checked them over, as we suspected mange, but it turns out they suffered from vitamin D deficiencies due to being fed $10/50#'s discount store dogfood which has absolutely no nutrients in it to sustain good growth and haircoat. These poor little pup's may have been kept in a basement, garage, or barn, away from sunlight. We are working hard to bring them back to health and our vet feels they will make a full and speedy nutritional recovery. I worry so for the 7 that were given away prior to the owner dumping these ones on us. If you'd like to learn about REAL nutrition for your pet, check out www.eaglepack.com
