We rescued this very cute litle purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgis from a local puppy mill, where she was just considered "breeding stock." She is a sweet and very gentle girl. She has been fostered in a home in Pittsburgh for several months now and is learning quickly about the world beyond a wire cage. She becoming better socialized and less shy.
TAMMY MAE is sable and white, a beautiful girl born 3-5-03 who weighs about 20 lbs. She still can be pretty timid, wants to approach people but too shy to get very close yet (certainly too shy for a home w/ children under 12) ..... but will sometimes sit in your lap w/ encouragement. Will accept petting and grroming w/o trembling now.
She would likely do best w/ another dog in the house--since she relates well to other animals. She will need a very gentle calm owner w/ a quiet lifestyle who is willing to be patient w/ her. Like for all our rescues, we require a home w/ a safe and secure fenced yard (not "invisible" fence.)
