Tessa
has been adopted by Jolene and Dan of the Edmonds area. She is one of a litter of nine puppies born around
Christmas of 2009. Her mom looks like a small Chesapeake Bay Retriever
mix. We're tentatively guessing Tessa's dad may have been a due to her
black coloring and her love of water. Mom weighs about 40 lbs, and
Tessa will likely grow to around the same size.
An early evaluation by a vet indicated that Tessa is a relaxed,
submissive pup with great people focus. Her foster says she's a gentle
little soul. Very outgoing, love to snoop around and sniff
everything. Likes sitting
in the water bowl :). She will make a great camping, hiking, running,
out on the boat kind of little girl, high energy but not overly high.
tessa also loves to play fetch with the balls.
Like
all Mikey's Chance dogs, she will come to you current on all
vaccinations and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $250 includes
the cost of mandatory sterilization at 6-7
months of age.
