Thor is a five year old Carolina Dog, perhaps mixed with Lab. He is a devoted companion once he comes to know you. He is cautious and shy with those he does not know, preferring to not be in their presence. He has recently been moved into a foster home from a shelter environment. The Carolina Dog breed is naturally cautious and suspicious in unfamiliar or unsettled settings. With time, when bonded with their human, they become excellent household companions. They generally bond quickly. Thor is a beautiful, dignified dog. The settled nature of his new foster home and the benefit of working with volunteers seasoned in handling skills, will allow Thor to bring his best to a forever home.
