Tiger

Hi…my name is Tiger. Despite my fierce sounding name, I really am a pussycat (well, except with other female dogs!). My name mainly comes from my coloring, which is a lovely red brindle that looks a bit like tiger stripes if you look just the right way. I am an Neopolitan mastiff who lived with a family (with kids) for over four years, then came back to my “birth home” for two more years. During the four years with my first family, I was an indoor dog, but since then I’ve been mostly an outside girl – not that I’ve been totally happy with that!. I am a big gal, now 6 ½ years old, and am as gentle and tolerant as can be – with adult and kids of all ages (but I’ve never been around cats, so am not too sure about those little critters). I love to play ball with those large rubber “Kong” things (those treats are SO much fun to dig out!), and am just generally a sweet-hearted lady. My dad has lost his job and home, so he simply can’t keep me (and the other canines he had), so I am here hoping that someone who loves big, laid-back sweeties will come along one of these days and give me a home that I’ll never have to leave.
