My Story

Meet Timber! Timber is a young (1-2 years) beagle mix ready for his forever home. He is a sweet fellow who loves to ride in the car, go on long hikes and curl up with his people for a nap. He loves playing with other dogs and he really loves his chew toys. He would like to play with the family cat but the cat is not interested. (He would be okay in a home with a dog savvy cat). Timber is mostly house-trained, but will sometimes have a "piddle" accident. Timber is at the "mouthing" stage, so a family with older children would be appropriate. He would not be a good fit for a toddler or young child. Beagles love to follow their noses, so a home with a fence will keep him safe. Timber is fully grown at about 28 pounds - a perfect size for those car rides and snuggles that he enjoys. He is crate trained and somewhat leash trained. He does have a bit of separation anxiety that love, patience and training will help him overcome. He was found abandoned in the woods, thus the name Timber, so his anxiety is expected but can be overcome. Timber is fully vetted. He has had his vaccines, wormed, has been neutered and had dew claws removed. He is also microchipped. He is on heartworm and flea and tick preventive. All Timber needs is a family to call his own. If Timber seems like a good fit for your family, call 501-681-0658 for more informati
